burnt DVD is not recognised.

Which BS do you use? Which BS was before on it?
with which programme has burnt?
show sometimes with ISObuster after under Disk qualities what file system of the data carriers has. Knowing the problem zb. from BluRay Disks, they have UDF 2.XP cannot indicate 5 and these, needs for it an UDF 2.5 drivers. Vll has with burn with UDF 2.5 burnt.
