WPA2 faster than WPA, this is right?

Hello, in the PC world 08 stands the WPA2 is quicker than WPA, is this right?
I have encoded my WLAN still about WPA, because I at that time an adaptor WLAN in the net had which no WPA2 supported. The old adaptor WLAN of the only WPA is out supported already longer zeit, if the wetting has changed till present only not on WPA2, because WPA is sure enough and till present I had none lust in addition. Of it you will feel nothing. I had here with myself, up to a few days, now still WEP and has changed on WPA2 and the difference is 0.
This is worthwhile only for security-technical reasons.

You have a net the WPA and WPA2 is able?
It 2 clicks Are to be moved and then you yourself can measure
Like in the article described: It is dependent on your Router.

Test it, nevertheless, yourself, then you know it exactly. With myself I could ascertain no differences, 2 MBit were and remained 2 MBit, neither without, still with WEP, WPA or WPA2, always equally fast.

2 MBit were and remained 2 Mbi
They refer in the article to the data rate of the Routers ... the modern 54 he WLAN has clearly more than 2 MBit.
: For the web access it makes no difference absolutely according to speed, on account of which WPA you are of use, with transfer within own LANs this difference would be apparently perceptible with some Router, as far as the PC has probably tested world this.

This depends on it, whether the chip sentence an acceleration from FEED offers, if not, then WPA2 is slower. older chip sentences still offer none FEED hardware acceleration, but count on the chip sentence processor.
