Two computers a monitor?

Hello

I would like to pursue with pleasure two computers with a monitor by DVI, of course not at the same time. Is there there such a box or similar which something so allowed? I have found such a thing only vice versa in the net, one can pursue with a computer to two monitors. I would not want permanently the cable umstecken and for the second monitor I have not necessarily place.

Two computers a monitor?

Hello

My monitor has a VGA, a DVI and an entrance HDMI. My old calculator has a VGA and exit DVI (ATI X800GTO) and my new calculator two exits DVI (NVidia8800GT). I wanted to be blad 8800GT from the new calculator in the old calculator and the new map for the new calculator probably becomes no exit VGA gave. Therefore I will soon probably have no more VGA. being able to do one connect then a computer by HDMI with the monitor? I have tried this sometimes with the old calculator. Adaptor DVI HDMI on the DVI connection and then with a cable HDMI linked, however, no signal came there with the monitor, it went only with a cable DVI. By the new calculator I have not tried this yet. My monitor also looks always automatically for the connection where a signal comes.

good idea, I have found there already what the fitting. However, the Switch would be possible only if one by HDMI no monitor can connect. I must try this sometimes near the new calculator.
