So I do not know, whether I should welcome this development too still to broader monitors however lower for it. Just on the Internet I find this development quite unfavorable. There one is with such a monitor almost on the state like with an old 17" a monitor, of one resolution from 1280x1024 has admitted.
to the film look is optimum something so of course, but who looks in his PC then only films?, However, probably we have in 5 years even a side relation of 16:7, so that the Widescreen films can be also looked without black edges on the computer.

@ZRUF: Have changed from 1280x1024 / 19" on 1920x1200 / 24". The only one I notices is, that you the browser, Word processing etc.. any more in the full image does not let go. But above all with gigantic tables is also very practical 16:9 / 10.

Well. Graphic artists probably make a find rather in another price range. This is not here absolutely the target group. A plumber also buys no water pump tongs from the Grabbelkiste with practical person to himself. I have still the older model iiyama ProLite E2201W B2 and am very contented with it. The new trend with 22" monitors to the resolution HD to change is maybe quite nice for plays. Indeed, the writing on the desktop becomes there quite badly small.

I will buy nobody monitor less than 26" and 1920x1200...26 of Iiyama is perfect, here these are mmnach only schrott. I would touch nobody 24" or even 22"...and already not at all this dXmmliche1920x1080 resolution... I want monitor and nobody "ONLY" fernseher...

Yes stand also grad before entscheidung or shortly before bestellung. I also sway between 26" from iiyama and just new samsung (23" 2048x1152) costs just also 100, less. Am still in consider whether to me now display-diagonal or auflXsung is more important. Or quite high pixel-thick versus rather small ones.however, These new modelle are there rather dull. because they offer smaller auflXsungen.

I am also rather sceptical with these 16:9 auflXsungen. what does this have to do? 16:9 with fernseher fully OK, however, with the PC? If I find absolutely needlessly... 16:10 should remain as a standard., Moreover, these greater and greater werdenen resolutions with relatively small TFT dimensions also are rather a joke. What comes as the next? 17" wide with 2560x1600 resolution?!
