working briefcase cannot be closed
Hello, since me a faulty Excel macro has produced, if I hang in a loop, from I do not find out. starting Excel (working briefcase is automatically opened) leads to the faulty text:
public Function OpenCloseCD (Optionally drive ace string, _ expiry list 265 Optionally ByVal OpenClose ace Boolean = True, _ Optionally FindFirstCDDrive ace Boolean) ace Boolean Dim nExec ace string... comment: Mistake while compiling. Giving a receipt I with OK, if I am in the normal company. I go to the faulty text, starts to correct; error message: Excel has ascertained a problem and must be finished. Then: Excel produces the documents again. Then. mostly automatic new start. So, or similarly this runs off. Comment out, Extinguish, Correct are fruitless. changes in linkings or integration of Add. In cause either nothing, or lead to new start and then do not exist any more. An other variation is: Jump to Sub Auto_Close () in '28.09.IN 2008 of menu extinguishing Err.Clear ThisWorkbook.Close SaveChanges: = True Sub Hanging in 'ThisWork.....' This working briefcase we at the moment from another working briefcase uses and cannot be closed. Then: Excel produces the documents again; some other way on top. opening any working briefcase opens the defective programme, in addition. Being almost in despairing; how can I break open the linkings? I suppose, the fact that then can be corrected normally. greeting altbayer |

Can you begin then sometimes Excel quite normally and then deactivate macros? Then, nevertheless, the macro might not start at all. Thus you can work on it then or extinguish and store?!

Thank you for your tips, the solution is, at least provisionally, the ADD IN, on this the link pointed, to remove. With it the loop was interrupted and normal editing is possible again. greeting altbayer
