I doubt personally the use of such Protection solutions, because z.Z. Viruses and Trojans on the Mac still authorisation vonseiten of the administrator in the form of the administrator's code-word require. The whole discussion refers at the moment anyhow only to the hacked one, and with it unlawful ones, Version from iWork09, officially on no Mac should be to be found. And the concerning virus 'iworkservices' requires during the installation again own input of the administrator's code-word, what every Mac user should make immediately distrustful, because the authorisation is never questioned by single services, but always only one authorisation for the complete application. mfg

There is already iAntivirus and Avast also offers a scanner.

Like a b d notes quite properly, (at least till present) is asked, primarily, iBrain., However, here the normal user would be mentioned again, and these are in my opinion 95% of the users of a computer, just exactly this is not able to make a distinction, because he only "uses" the system, however, does not argue with the matter. If a code-word query comes makes the normal user not taken aback, if he must type, nevertheless, also his code-word with other installationen. Z.B. VMware, z.B. iWork, z.B. iSale etc.. The normal user will not hinder the second query, hence, in it to a virus etc.. To grant access. There lies the real problem.
If to this with a programme, that an installation of a virus etc.. successfully prevents, it can be counteracted, if this is to be welcomed absolutely.
